A regular in the GT World Challenge Asia with Phantom Global Racing, currently 3rd in the championship alongside Anthony Liu, Dorian Boccolacci is having a prolific season, between podiums in the Nürburgring Langstrecken Serie, participation in the 24 Hours of the Nürburgring and entries in Super GT.
Alongside him, Klaus Bachler arrives crowned with two consecutive Asian titles Le Mans Series and the LMGT3 crown in FIA WEC 2024, with six podiums in eight races. The Austrian has already shone at Suzuka, winning the GT World Challenge Asia in 2023.
Patric Niederhauser completes this trio 100% PorscheWinner of the 8 2021 Hours of Indianapolis, the Swiss driver is in third place in the Sprint Cup in GT World Challenge Europe this season, with a victory at Zandvoort and three other podium finishes.
For the first time since 2019, Suzuka returns to its 1000 km classic (September 12-14). Porsche will be the most represented manufacturer with 11 cars entered and will try to add a 12th success to its list of achievements. The "Pink Pig", which appeared in 1971 on the 917/20 and then won in GTE Pro at the 24 2018 Hours of Le Mans, will thus make its return to competition on this occasion, via the Phantom Global Racing team and its car No. 23.
Since its creation in early 2024, Phantom Global Racing has been multiplying its commitments: 4th in the Bathurst 12 Hours, at the finish of the Spa 24 Hours for its first participation, podiums in GT World Challenge Asia and leader in Carrera Cup Asia. With such a line-up and a legendary livery, the team hopes to make an impression on the figure-eight track at Suzuka.
