Winner of the first two rounds of the year, the 23XI Racing driver (the team owned by Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin) once again imposed his Toyota No. 45, this time at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin. Starting from pole position, Tyler Reddick played it safe in the first stint, letting Chase Briscoe (Joe Gibbs Racing) take the lead with a daring overtake in the first corner.

It was on long stints that Reddick would build his victory, and as they entered the final segment, he found himself at the front, alongside a particularly fast Ryan Blaney (Team Penkse). The two battled until a safety car period with twenty laps to go, following a crash by Ross Chastain (Trackhouse Racing).

It was on the restart that Shane van Gisbergen (Trackhouse Racing) joined the party, overtaking Blaney right from the restart. From then on, the outcome seemed certain, as the New Zealander had won the last five races held on road or street circuits, meaning all the events in 2025… except for the one at COTA in Austin.

This is an ordeal that will continue to elude him, as Tyler Reddick delivered a perfect performance, winning by nearly two seconds over "SVG", and making history in the process. "This hat trick really means a lot to me.", explained the 30-year-old pilot.

“On the final restart, I’m in the lead and I see ‘SVG’ coming, the guy I’ve been trying to beat on these circuits for so long now. To be able to break away at the end of the race, battle with him and beat him, it’s truly incredible.”

La NASCAR Cup Series will now head to Phoenix, Arizona, for a round where theIndyCar will also take place on the same circuit on Saturday, on the eve of the Cup Series race.
