"When you drive for Michael Jordan, you expect to win every race."That's what Tyler Reddick said after his Daytona 500 victory, which came after a season without any wins. It's clear that the Californian driver is living up to expectations, as he remains undefeated in championship races this year, having won in Atlanta.

As at Daytona, Reddick delivered a real coup in the final laps to surge to the front of the pack and control the leading group behind him, which included Carson Hocevar (Spire Motorsports) and Ross Chastain (Trackhouse Racing). He was also aided by another ToyotaDespite the fact that Chase Briscoe (Joe Gibbs Racing) had also been involved in a similar situation, Reddick had narrowly avoided disaster earlier in the race. Involved in one of the accidents inherent to these pack races, Reddick had to finish the race with heavy damage to his front right tire, which his team could only repair with tape due to the very low temperatures (3°C at the finish).

"It's just madness, as is often the case in Atlanta."Reddick said after his success. "This circuit truly delivers incredible racing year after year. Handling and aerodynamics are very important here, but I feel that determination is ultimately more important than handling!"

Reddick's second victory for the No. 45 Toyota allows Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin's team to remain undefeated in NASCAR Cup Series, after a winter spent taking the sport to court, and a lawsuit that ultimately ended in an out-of-court settlement. An exceptional competitor, Jordan's winning streak continues…

This Sunday, the peloton will head to a road circuit for the first time, with a round at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.
