EuroNASCAR in Zolder: Paul Jouffreau takes the Superpole

The weekend in Zolder (Belgium) promises to be good for the Girondin in this final meeting of the EuroNASCAR season (October 14-15). On a dry but cold track, Paul Jouffreau first took pole before taking Superpole in the Euro-NASCAR Pro.

In this very short exercise (only the first 10 in qualifying can try their luck again for five minutes), Jouffreau relegated Giorgio Maggi, his closest pursuer, to 0,355 sec while Vladimiros Tziortzis, the championship leader, completed the Limburg turnstile 1,168 seconds from the Superpolman.

Marc Goossens had to settle for 7th fastest time while Anthony Kumpen, the other regional rider on the stage, had only set the 11th fastest time in qualifying and was therefore not invited to the Superpole.
