There was no miracle from the weather. Faced with stubborn fog, the organizers of the 24 2024 Hours of Nürburgring have decided to definitively stop the race with 1 hour to go, this Sunday shortly before 15 p.m.
A series of five laps behind the Safety Car was enough for him.ADAC (the organizers) to decide to stop this 52nd edition of the 24 Hours of the Nürburgring for good. The final ranking is therefore the one taken on Saturday evening at 23:23 p.m. Victory therefore went to Frank Stippler, Christopher Mies, Ricardo Feller and Dennis Marschall in the Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II from the Scherer Sport PHX team (ex-Phoenix Racing).
This is the third victory on the Nordschleife for Christopher Mies and Frank Stippler, the seventh for Audi at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring and the sixth for the team formerly called Phoenix Racing.

Second place went to the famous Porsche 911 GT3 R “Grello” from Manthey-Racing shared by Kevin Estre, Laurens Vanthoor, Thomas Preining and Ayhançan Güven. They gained one position following the penalty imposed on the BMW M4 GT3 of Dan Harper, Max Hesse and Charles Weerts. The trio had observed one less pit stop before the red flag on Saturday evening, and a time penalty corresponding to a pit stop was added by the Race Direction this Sunday afternoon, in order to put everyone on notice. same level of pit stops.
