24 Hours of Nürburgring – The red flag soon to be raised?

The 52nd edition of the 24 Hours of Nurburgring (Germany) is marked by climatic hazards. Thick fog forced the organization to stop the event with a red flag on Saturday evening. The cars returned to the pits and the interruption lasted all night.

This Sunday morning, at 9:30 a.m., the competitors still in the running took the wheel again to take their cars to the starting grid, with a view to a second start. But the fog is still there and you don't have to be a guesser to predict that the 24 Hours of the Nürburgring will not resume for some time yet.

Update 13 p.m.: Five training laps will be completed at 13:30 p.m. If conditions improve during these laps, the race will be restarted. Otherwise, the race will be interrupted.
