Max Verstappen Will he stop? Not just any car, as the Dutch driver tried out the Nissan Z NISMO GT500 in the colors of Red Bull. A test session carried out in torrential rain and in the company of Atsushi Miyake, third in the championship in 2024 with NDDP NISMO and official driver of the Japanese brand.

The Nissan Z NISMO GT500 is powered by a 2,0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing approximately 550 hp, with a weight of just 1,020 kg. Exceeding 300 km/h, the GT500 is considered one of the most powerful GT cars in the world, even surpassing Hypercar prototypes. WECThere's no doubt that Verstappen thoroughly enjoyed driving this beast, unlike the 2026 F1 cars which he compared to " FE under steroids "Especially since the first two Grands Prix under the new regulations did not show a Red Bull capable of fighting at the front with the Mercedes.

No official statement has yet been released regarding Max Verstappen's test drive of the Nissan Z NISMO, but it appears to be nothing more than a promotional day organized by Red Bull. Unless, of course, Verstappen is preparing for another bold move in the coming months… Nothing would be surprising from the driver who will be competing in the 24 Hours of Nürburgring on May 16th.

Damn Max, he's insatiable, he reminds me more and more of Michael… Since he became world champion (4x 🏆👍) and his partner Kelly had their little Lilly, he's become more human (Dubois)… which is normal, it's… life!!!! We'll see around July, his future destination. My feeling will be Scuderia Ferrari, it's the culmination of a lifetime, or a big surprise, Mercedes ‼️. Have a great evening everyone. What a fantastic sound from the Nissan Nismo GT500, awesome! And well done to Max Verstappen. He's not a champion I've always liked, but these last two years, calmer after his world championship titles, he's shown much more human and likeable sides. Like many, it makes you want to see him in races other than boring F1. It's a shame Canal+ doesn't broadcast the GT500, the Australian supercar...
