  • Four races were enough for Honda to taste the champagne of the top step of the podium with its new Civic Type R-GT. After the third place of the No. 16 (Ren Sato-Hiroki Otsu) during the last round at Suzuka, the Aguri Suzuki team claimed victory thanks to the duo of the No. 8, Tomoki Nojiri-Nobuhuru Matsuhita.
  • Together, the two men dominated the weekend from start to finish, showing that their new mount is very efficient. The day after their first pole position, the teammates repeated with success this time after a well-controlled race.
  • The celebration was even better on the Fuji side since Honda even celebrated a double. It was the Civic Type R-GT No. 100 of Team Kunimitsu (Naoki Yamamoto-Tadasuke Makino) which made it possible by finishing a little more than 3" from the winners of the day. Hiroaki Ishiura and Toshiki Oyu on the Toyota GR Supra N°38 from Team KeePer Cerumo completed the podium during this 4th round.
  • In the No. 37 Toyota GR Supra of Team TOM'S, Giuliano Alesi, accompanied by Ukyo Sesahara, took the point of tenth place on the last lap ahead of the second Civic Type R-GT from ARTA.

  • In GT300, no points this weekend for Lilou Wadoux who failed at the bottom of the Top 10 alongside Kei Cozzolino on the Ferrari 296 GT3 No. 45 of Ponos Racing. Victory goes to the Mercedes-AMG GT No. 65 (Naoya Gamou-Takuro Shinohara-Haruki Kurosawa) from LEON Racing which returns to success for the first time in 4 years.

The next round of the season is scheduled for Suzuka for a new 350-kilometer race, from August 31 to September 1.
