Super GT – Fuji: NDDP Racing dominates a race marked by rain

Katsumasa Chiyo and Mitsunori Takaboshi won the 450 km of Fuji for NDDP Racing, after an event disrupted by showers.

  • At the end of 100 laps on the Japanese circuit, Katsumasa Chiyo and Mitsunori Takaboshi took victory at the wheel of their Nissan Fairlady Z GT500. Taking advantage of the mixed conditions, the event being marked by two showers, the drivers of the No. 3 shod with Michelin tires achieved their first success of the season.
  • Honda completes the podium with two NSX-GTs. The ARTA duo, Hiroki Otsu and Nirei Fukuzumi finished second, while the Stanley team crew, Naoki Yamamoto and Tadasuke Makino took the checkered flag in 3rd place with the #100. The two Hondas are also the first cars to reach the finish line on Bridgestone tires.
  • The GT300 was won by the No. 3 Gainer Nissan GT-R NISMO GT11 driven by Ryuichiro Tomita Keishi Ishikawa and Yusuke Shiotsu. The #4 Studie BMW M7 finished second, followed by the #6 DOBOT with the Audi R8 LMS.
  • Note, a red flag was waved on lap 68 when the Tsuchiya Engineering car Toyota Seita Nonaka's GR Supra GT300 stopped at the side of the track before going up in flames. The pilot escaped unscathed.
