Now holder of a DMSB Norschleife Grade A license, the four-time world champion Formula 1 can tackle the "Green Hell" of the Nürburgring whenever he wants at the wheel of a GT3 class car. Verstappen So decided that the time would be this weekend, between the Azerbaijan and Singapore Grand Prix.
The Dutchman will therefore participate this Saturday in the ninth round of the NLS season, on a Ferrari 296 GT3 entered by Emil Frey Racing, but dressed in the usual Verstappen.com Racing colors. Max Verstappen will team up for the occasion with Chris Lulham, one of his drivers in GT World Challenge Europe throughout the year.
The two men will be competing in a four-hour race that will start this Saturday, September 27 at noon. After several participations in the virtual 24 Hours of Nürburgring on iRacing, the Dutchman will be able to experience "for real" what it's like to drive a GT3 car on the Norschleife. An experience he's eager to try, in preparation for a participation in the real 24 Hours of Nürburgring in the future.

The Dorint, the place to stay at the Ring while enjoying the spectacular passages around the Nordschleife where there is always something happening. Surprising that he lines up at the wheel of a Ferrari 296 GT3 rather than a Honda / Acura NSX GT3!
