On a legendary circuit, during a historic weekend, the Porsche Carrera Cup France offered a superb show on the track. For 45 minutes, the 63 entrants, from the ranks of the PCCF and the Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia, battled with the hope of winning the Holy Grail: a victory on the race track. 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Starting fifth on the grid, Dylan Pereira (Mtech Competition) took advantage of everyone's mistakes to move up the rankings. I fought with Dylan until the last lap, but I didn't tempt the devil. I would have liked to win everything, however I had to take big points and that's what I did. »

Boccolacci and Ghiretti miss a great opportunity

During qualifying, Dorian Boccolacci produced a splendid lap, dominating the rest of the field by more than eight tenths. The CLRT driver took off perfectly and retained the lead of the race before getting trapped in a “Slow Zone”. The Cannes resident saves the furniture by finishing third overall and second in PCCF. Alessandro Ghiretti, too, could have won in Sarthe. Thanks to a nice maneuver, the resident of Martinet by Alméras overtook Klein, but he then missed his braking to shoot straight into the gravel. Third in the France Cup standings, the Junior PCCF 2021 retains the lead in the championship with fourteen points ahead.
