Broc Feeney dominated the 2025 season with 16 pole positions and as many victories. However, the young driver had not yet secured his place in the championship finale. He rectified this anomaly in the best possible way by winning the 31st race of the season without being challenged for all 81 laps. He dominated the entire race from the start to the checkered flag. He capitalized on the misfortune of Chaz Mostert (Walkinshaw Andretti United), who crashed into the tire wall (finishing in 8th position), to reclaim the championship lead. Feeney is confident he can defend his title in Adelaide, a circuit he particularly enjoys.
Will Brown (Triple Eight) put on another spectacular display on a track made treacherous by a heavy downpour at the start of the race. The 2024 champion finished 3rd after starting from 17th on the grid! Satisfied with his performance, Brown knows he needs to work on his qualifying to make things easier for himself during the race. He has therefore qualified for the Adelaide finale alongside Feeney and Mostert. The final spot goes to… Kai Allen, the young driver of the Whole grained Racing qualified at the expense of his illustrious teammate Matt Payne (winner of the Bathurst 1000 km), who collided with Cam Waters (Pickford Racing) around lap 50. Both drivers suffered significant damage to their respective Mustangs and, more importantly, lost their chance to fight for the 2025 title.
This final race promises to be thrilling on the streets of Adelaide; this circuit is renowned for its unpredictable and fiercely contested competition. There are only two weeks left to wait to find out the verdict of this fantastic Australian Supercars season and the name of Will Brown's successor.
