Brodie Kostecki, the 2023 Supercars winner, ends the year with a bang. After winning brilliantly (alongside Todd Hazelwood) Kostecki takes home another prestigious victory. Too bad for him to have missed the start of the season, he would certainly have been among the drivers currently fighting for the supreme title this year. Kostecki started perfectly from pole position. Alongside him, championship leader Will Brown (Chevrolet Camaro- Triple eight engineering) defends his position dearly. Halfway through the first lap, eight cars are going to be involved in a pile-up that the Surfers Paradise circuit is accustomed to. The two Dick Johnson Racing drivers Will Davison and Anton de Pasquale are unfortunately involved.

The favorites for the title do not let go of each other
The championship leaders are all in the leading group. Will Brown, his teammate Broc Feeney (Chevrolet Camaro- Triple Eight engineering), Chaz Mostert (Ford Mustang- Walkinshaw Andretti United), Cameron Waters (Ford Mustang- Tickford Racing) are engaged in a merciless fight behind the leader Kostecki. The pit stops do not change much. The order varies by one or two positions but there is nothing dramatic in the strategy implemented by the teams. The images in the race are nevertheless very spectacular, the cars brush the walls and the "two wheels" are impressive at the chicanes. During the second round of refueling, Kostecki, still the leader, leaves the pits just in front of the two Triple Eight drivers. Chaz Mostert is forced to return to the pits following a fueling error during his stop. This disappointment signals the end of Mozy's title chances this year. Too bad, he has had an exemplary season.
Brodie Kostecki wins his third race of 2024 ahead of Broc and Feeney who will be the two drivers fighting for the crown on the streets of Adelaide in about a month. Less than two hundred points separate the two teammates, although Brown has a slight advantage. The final round of the Australian Supercars is scheduled for November 14-17.
