PCCF – Dijon: Jordan Boisson the guest – almost – becomes a starter

He was only scheduled to be present in Barcelona. However, Jordan Boisson then raced at Paul Ricard, Spa-Francorchamps and this weekend at Dijon-Prenois. It must be said that TFT Racing has not been spared from forfeits. Whether due to injury or a clash of calendars, as is the case this weekend with Benjamin Paque retained by the Benelux Cup, Tony Pereira's team has constantly been looking for a replacement. Each time, the team manager has been able to count on Jordan Boisson: " I took advantage of the opportunities to move forward in the season. This happens every time, meeting after meeting. I knew I was coming this weekend for two weeks but at Spa, I was called on Wednesday just before the race! »

Leaving Catalonia, he admits to having " thought of Le Castellet. Coming from Nice, I hoped to be at the start of this round because it's a bit like home and my family could come. I didn't imagine doing Spa which is a very big circuit and even less Dijon, especially after what happened in Belgium. »

In the Belgian Ardennes, the Am driver suffered the first major accident of his career on the first lap of Race 2. In the pack, he was surprised by Louis Rousset, who spun, and hit the Martinet/Forestier Racing driver. I knew it wasn't my fault, that I had nothing to do with it. It wasn't an obvious mistake on my part, but it was weird. I had slight after-effects for two or three weeks afterwards. The break was good. It's part of the learning process, and if I want to progress in the sport, it's the risk I have to take. »

In the Dijon paddock, Jordan Boisson met up with his lifelong friend Marvin Klein, who was present with ABM. Marvin put me in a car, helps me in motorsport every day. I knew he was there and driving alongside him finished convincing me. »

Author of two podiums in the Am category, the Niçois wants above all to have fun. I'm not playing in the championship so it would be stupid of me to aim for a place. The Barcelona round didn't count in the general classification because I was there as a guest and I didn't score any points. I'm here to challenge myself, to do the best I can. It will be hard to find the two leaders. Whether it's a third, fourth or fifth place, the goal is to gain experience because I want to come back full time next year. »
