He had not stood on the highest step of the rookie podium since Race 1 at Paul Ricard. This Saturday, in Dijon-Prenois, the former resident of the car has rediscovered the taste of success among novice drivers in the Cup France.

However, the fourth round of the season did not start ideally. I had a lot of trouble with this circuit. I racked my brains on Thursday and Friday trying to find solutions. The track is complicated, you have to have a lot of confidence and avoid the many traps. » After two months without official riding, the return to competition was therefore not easy.

Sixth on the C1 starting grid, the driver Schumacher CLRT found himself in battle with his teammate, Paul Cauhaupé. The two drivers engaged in a nice battle for several minutes, with Marcus Amand emerging victorious. It was a bit hot! (Laughs) I really enjoyed it because it was clean, without any touching. »

With this result behind him, the Franco-Finnish already has his mind set on Race 2: " Tomorrow, we have to win back to take important points in the championship. I will work tonight and arrive with the same state of mind: to gain positions. » Marcus Amand will start ninth this Sunday at 11:30 a.m.
