The pleasure is visible on his smile. Committed to the season in 2022, Patrick Charlaix had decided not to return to PCCF the following year. On the occasion of the fourth round of the championship, the Canadian came to compensate for a withdrawal at TFT Racing.

At the end of a Friday marked by two free practice sessions, the wearer of number 5 could not contain his joy: " I missed it! I went to see Tony (Pereira, the team director) at Spa. He asked me if I wanted to get back behind the wheel. I was free, physically ready so I said yes! »

Patrick Charlaix has joined a well-known collective, that of TFT Racing, which he appreciates so much: “ This team is like family. » Alongside him, he finds Jordan Boisson and Louis Perrot, now at CLRT Schumacher. " I helped him a lot when he started, I'm very happy and proud of him. Louis is a hard worker, he deserves to be where he is. » This race is not just a one-off as the Am driver will also be present at Mugello and Portimão, before perhaps returning to the wheel full-time in another category in 2025.
