PCCF – Misano: First career pole for Cauhaupé

  • Another milestone reached! In an ultra-close qualifying session, Paul Cauhaupé edged out the rest of the field. The ABM driver secured his first-ever pole position in Porsche Carrera Cup France. The Toulouse driver will start from the top of the grid. This is the best opportunity of his career to achieve championship success.
  • Proof of the tiny gap, Mathys Jaubert is second, just 19 thousandths of a second behind the pole sitter. The championship leader managed his session well to get into the right group at the right time. A second ABM completes the top three. Marvin Klein is just 3 thousandths behind his teammate.
  • Fourth, Marcus Amand is also very close to pole. 80 separates Paul Cauhaupé from the CLRT driver. Schumacher. Keagan Masters (TFT Racing) finished in the top-5.
  • Dominating from start to finish, Chester Kieffer (CLRT Schumacher) took pole position in the rookie category. Enzo Joulié (Martinet by Alméras) was just behind him on the grid. Mathys Cappuccio (ABM), Joran Leneutre (Racing Technology), and Karen Gaillard (Schumacher CLRT) were further back.
  • Marc Guillot confirmed his dominance in the Pro-Am class. The ABM rider got the better of the Racing Technology class of Jérôme Boullery and Cyril Caillo. Jordan Boisson (TFT Racing) will start from pole in the Am class. Jean-Philippe Gambaro (ABM) will be alongside him at the start. Eric Debard (Debard Automobiles by Racetivity) and newcomer Loic Teire (GP Racing Team) will be just behind.
  • The start of Race 1 will be given at 18:00 p.m.
