- For the first time since 2019, the Porsche Carrera Cup France takes to the Misano circuit. The 992 GT3 Cup field discovers the Italian track in the heat, which was already very present this Friday morning.
- Paul Cauhaupé got his weekend off to a perfect start. The ABM driver clocked a time of 1:36, putting him atop the standings. The current fourth-place finisher in the championship hopes to have a strong rally to reclaim the overall lead.
- The Toulouse driver is ahead of his teammate Marvin Klein (ABM) by more than two tenths. The top three is completed by Benjamin Paque (TFT Racing). Marcus Amand (CLRT) Schumacher) is fourth.
- In the top five, Chester Kieffer (CLRT Schumacher) dominates the rookie category. The Luxembourger is closely followed by Joran Leneutre (Racing Technology). Mathys Cappuccio (ABM), ninth overall, is within half a second of CLRT driver Schumacher. PCCF 5 Junior Karen Gaillard (Schumacher CLRT) finished the session in nineteenth place.
- The championship leader was discreet. Mathys Jaubert (Martinet by Alméras), leading the general classification after Spa-Francorchamps, finished the first session in seventh place. Louis Perrot, who claimed his first PCCF victory in Belgium, finished eleventh.
- Marc Guillot set the benchmark in Pro-Am. The ABM rider finished ahead of the Racing Technology teams of Jérôme Boullery and Cyril Caillo. Two Am drivers finished ahead of the Pro-Am teams: Jean-Philippe Gambaro (ABM) and Jordan Boisson (TFT Racing). Eric Debard (Debard Automobiles by Racetivity), third, was just six thousandths of a second behind Marc Guillot. A newcomer to this Italian event, Loic Teire continues his discovery.
