A month and a half have passed since the last round of the PCCF at Paul Ricard and Alessandro Ghiretti is back in the championship this weekend, for the third meeting of the 2024 season. Meanwhile, the pilot Schumacher CLRT has not been idle. The Junior Porsche 2024 went to Imola and Monaco for the Porsche Supercup then crossed the globe to Suzuka (Japan) then Buriram (Thailand) in the Asia Cup.
« The start in the Supercup was not easy, recognizes the Junior PCCF 2021. I gave up in Italy then it was complicated in Monaco because of the qualification. It's hard to explain what's wrong but we have to keep working. There have only been two races out of eight so we have to look forward. »
In Asia, Alessandro Ghiretti is much more in the spotlight with five victories in six races. “ In PCCF and PCCA, everything is going very well so it will trigger in Supercup, I am sure of it. » In the Asian division, he finds his runner-up from the Cup France: Mathys Jaubert (Martinet by Alméras), also engaged in a triple program. But he doesn't see any psychological advantage in beating him in a different championship. “ I don't dwell on Mathys, nor on anyone else. I stay focused on myself no matter who is in front of me. »
At Spa-Francorchamps, the wearer of No. 11 wants to have the best possible weekend, regardless of the weather conditions: “ if the rain comes, it comes, if it doesn't come, too bad. I have no concerns about this setting. It will be the same for everyone in the race so you will just have to get used to it. » Beaten by Mathys Jaubert in C2 at Le Castellet, « even though we took the checkered flag in the lead, reminds the one who was penalized for non-compliance with track limits", the Junior Porsche Motorsport 2024 could well see itself returning to the top step of the podium in Belgium.
