PCCF – Spa-Francorchamps: Perrot returns to the land of his first podium

In two years, Louis Perrot's life as a pilot has changed a lot. The TFT Racing rookie of 2022 has become one of the strong men of the 2024 season of Porsche Carrera Cup France. Under the colors of CLRT Schumacher, the former simracer has reached a new milestone, as evidenced by his good start to the season: two podiums in Barcelona and a very good comeback at Paul Ricard, after a roll in Race 1.

When returning to the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, the Toulouse resident is very happy: “ it's a circuit where I'm extremely comfortable and where my races have always gone well. » At the end of a first day of free testing « satisfactory “, he said to himself “ confident enough to qualify. » 

The uncertainty of rain

This Saturday, the weather is very uncertain above Spa-Francorchamps. Showers will certainly arrive but when? “ To choose, I prefer it to be in qualifying, laughs Louis Perrot. A dry race is more fun. Afterwards, if it doesn't rain it's better. » 

Regardless of the conditions, the CLRT Schumacher resident aims at least “ a second place. Winning may be difficult but anything is possible. In any case, being outside the top-3 would not be a good performance. » After a first podium in 2022, the Ardennes slide will it be the place of his first victory?
