PCCF – Spa: Louis Perrot recovers his victory

Louis Perrot will remember his first victory in Porsche Carrera Cup France. On track, the Toulouse driver got the better of Mathys Jaubert (Martinet by Alméras) after a close battle between the two drivers. After taking the checkered flag as the winner and arriving in parc fermé all smiles, the former sim racer had the unpleasant surprise of learning he had received a penalty for swerving under the safety car, pushing him back to fourth place. It was a real shock for the driver who saw his success slipping away.

A few hours later, the resident of Schumacher CLRT saw its sanction cancelled by the race management. “It was a first that was not easy to achieve on the track and off, he was enjoying in the paddock this Saturday evening. I'm super happy because the team did an amazing job. I also think I did a good job on the track." 

On the home turf of his first French Cup podium in 2022, Louis Perrot was deprived of all the celebrations. But the important thing is elsewhere; no one will take this victory away from him. In my heart, she's there! I'm just happy. There will be more podiums, that's for sure." This could happen as early as this Sunday during Race 2. This time, the Schumacher CLRT driver intends to make the decision on track to celebrate, as it should be, a potential new triumph.
