Three years since I last smelled a Nomex hood. Felt the pressure of the helmet against my temples. Experienced my heart pounding so hard in my chest. Three years since I last experienced adrenaline under the effect of speed, risk-taking, tension in the neck. And fear too, because nothing prepares you for driving at 270 km/h in Estoril. After such a break and loss of bearings, can I still drive? Doubt explodes in my face, and to tell the truth, the experience is one of those that reminds us that we only live once. There's no point in procrastinating, I have to profit, selfishly.
