Was 1976 a year of happiness? Judging by the recent study* on the subject and the current nostalgia for the 1970s, the answer is undeniably yes. It must be said that at that time, people were humming along to the tunes of Sylvie Vartan, Johnny Hallyday, and Michel Sardou, and were amazed by the Concorde making its first flight.
