Exemplary start to the season for Jackie Chan DC Racing and the crew of the Oreca 05 composed of Thomas Laurent, Stéphane Richelmi and Harrison Newey. The trio dominated the 4 Hours of Fuji in Japan to score a second consecutive victory after that won in Zhuhai.
The trio defeated the No. 2 Ligier JS P37 – Team BBT of Luis Felipe Derani, author of the pole, and assisted by Davide Rizzo and Anthony Xu Liu. In the No. 05 Oreca 8, Stéphane Richelmi took the best start ahead of the Ligier – Team BBT, delayed by a spin in the first moments of the four-hour race.
Onroak's LM P2 was then unable to challenge the victory at the end of the race against the No. 8, where Thomas Laurent once again distinguished himself. The podium is completed by the second Oreca 05 of Jackie Chan DC Racing of David Cheng and Jazeman Jaafar.
In LM P3, the Ligier JS P3 of Jackie Chan DC Racing of the Cosmo – Byrne duo wins while the Ferrari 488 GT3 n°90 – FIST Team AAI of Cioci – Yu – Millroy wins in the GT category.
