Bertrand Godin: "Without Gilles Villeneuve, I wouldn't have believed in my dreams."

Hello Bertrand! We're back with this very nice Arrows A1 that you were able to drive at the Monaco Historic Grand Prix, what's it like to drive a car that saw the streets of the Principality almost 50 years ago?

It's magical. When I attended the 1978 Canadian Grand Prix, with Gilles Villeneuve's home victory, that's when the spark of motorsport ignited in me. I told myself I would love to experience that kind of feeling. When you're so deeply affected by an event at that age, you inevitably wonder what it would be like to be behind the wheel of one of those racing cars. To be able to experience that dream firsthand is magical, the ultimate. Riccardo Patrese was driving that car back then, and he finished fourth in Canada that same year.

And Riccardo Patrese himself came to visit you during your first laps behind the wheel of the Arrows!
