A gentleman driver with an impressive track record, owner of "Lista," a company specializing in office furniture, and creator of the Autobau Museum in Romanshorn, Switzerland, on Lake Constance, Fredy Lienhard awaits us in front of the doors of the building dedicated to his idol, Clay Regazzoni, whom he met later in life but with whom he forged a strong bond. Since the former five-time Grand Prix winner's death in a road accident in December 2006, Lienhard has maintained a close relationship with the Regazzoni family. In fact, on this particular day, he is not alone on the museum steps: Clay's wife, Maria Pià, his daughter, Alessia, and his granddaughter, Sofia, are gathered for the launch of a book dedicated to the career of the Ticino native who lost the use of his legs in Long Beach, USA, in 1980. This was just a few months after he had crossed the finish line first.
