Hello Gregor Raymondis! You are taking us for a ride in a car from a bygone era! Why did you choose this model?

This 1984 Land Rover Range Rover is very iconic. I love the Ranges of this generation. It is one of the first high-end SUVs released in the early 1970s. It has some pretty incredible technical features for the time with permanent four-wheel drive, four disc brakes, an aluminum body. I am not a car collector, but I have had this one for years and I will never sell it! It is the model I was raised in. My father (Raoul Raymondis. Editor's note) was a Land Rover dealer in addition to being a driver. rally-raid.

We imagine that your passion comes from there!

I imagine so too. (Laughs) Being born in the automobile industry, evolving in this environment since always, experiencing the races through my father, has inevitably contributed to this passion. He did the first of his ten Dakar in 1980 at a time when the Rally-Raid was very mediatized. He drove Range Rovers until he became a factory driver for the brand. I was immersed in it all my youth, because I sometimes accompanied him in races or raids in Africa. I had the chance to discover the Sahara, Tunisia, Niger, the Ténéré desert, Senegal. My eyes were shining.
