Jean-François Sinteff: "In Formula 1, confidence is gained slowly and lost quickly."

Hello Jean-François. A Skoda Octavia estate car, that surprises us for a classic car enthusiast…

To be perfectly honest, it's a rental car. My thing is more classic cars, actually, a hobby directly inherited from my father, which I in turn passed on to my son. We do restoration work in our spare time. Currently, we're working on a car I really love: a Classic Mercedes for sale 190 in the 1959 SLR version. As we know, Mercedes had that terrible accident at 24 Hours of Le Mans 1955 (82 dead. Editor's note) and had stopped competing. But when they launched the 190 SL, some people wanted to race it. So Mercedes sold them conversion kits, including a wind deflector to replace the windshield. Whenever I get the chance, I drive it around the roads of my region.
