The world's greatest hill climb will celebrate its 104th edition on Sunday, June 21st in Colorado, USA. We're talking, of course, about the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, which has just unveiled its entry list of 75 drivers—or almost, as it still has a few gaps that should be filled soon. The first piece of news is that defending champion Simone Faggioli, multiple European Hill Climb Champion and 18-time Italian Hill Climb Champion, is not currently entered in the American classic. Last year, he participated in the race driving a Nova Proto NP01 powered by two Nissan V6 engines and won an edition marked by inclement weather, the course of which was shortened to just its first section. But since four places in the Unlimited/Super Unlimited category, in which the Italian driver competed last year, have not yet been announced, anything is still possible.
The French were well represented at Pikes Peak
As every year, several French drivers will attempt the challenge in four months. Among them is the best French representative in the event's history, Romain Dumas, who will once again compete in a Ford Super Mustang Mach-E, the same car he drove last year. It's worth remembering that the Alès native is a five-time winner of the race. Grégoire Blachon, the event's record holder in the Diesel vehicle category, will also be back in a Radical: his last participation was in a surprising Volkswagen Fun Cup. Philippe Marion, from the Paris region and a regular in the French Hill Climb Championship, is also returning to the event with the RD Limited team and one of its cars. PorscheWe will also see Bruce Jouanny there: the French driver and television presenter will be taking part in the race at the wheel of a Ligier JS2R. Finally, and for the first time in his career, Valentin Simonet is also entered in Pikes Peak at the wheel of a Renault RS01, an extremely high-performance car that could, why not, cause an upset.

Other flagship products will also be present.
While the French are well represented, other motorsport personalities will also be at the starting line of the 2026 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. Four-time winner Robin Shute, competing this year in a prototype designed specifically for the event called the Sendycar V1, is currently the clear favorite. Also worth mentioning is Katherine Legge, former host of American television series. IndyCar and Champ Car, JR Hildebrand, known for his crash in the last corner of the Indianapolis 500 while leading in 2011 in his very first participation, or David Donohue, whom fans ofEndurance They know it well, on a Porsche 911 Turbo S. The show promises to be intense next June: let's hope the weather is kind this year.
