As Sébastien wisely says Loeb, his new partner since the Rally-Raid Portugal at the end of September, "Edward (Baker) is the competitor who has scored the most points in the world championship", drivers and co-drivers combined. Indeed, the French navigator has 187 points at the end of a successful year... alongside two different drivers: Nasser Al-Attiyah until the summer and Sébastien Loeb since the fall.
Already world champion of rally-raid (W2RC) in 2024 (only to the right of Al-Attiyah), Édouard Boulanger therefore confirms that he is the best co-pilot in his field. “We had a great end to the season with Sébastien (Loeb)We got along well with Seb, and I think there are some great things to do together in the future.", like a victory at the Dakar.

The relationship is indeed at its best between the two men. “In our dynamic, we move towards each other; taking a step in the other's direction is in our common interest. It allows us to go faster in the race. And in this respect, the Rallye du Maroc was great because it's a competition where we find all the usual conditions in rally-raid.
Furthermore, this week, we opened maybe two-thirds of the race! As a crew, it brought us together and made us experience different situations. Honestly, this 2025 Rally of Morocco was anything but simple! Both in terms of terrain and navigation, all the ingredients were there to make it a complicated event. It feels good to turn in a perfect performance with Seb."
