Without excusing himself from missing the checkpoint on the final stage of the Rally of Morocco, Fabian Lurquin looks back at the exceptional circumstances that led to this error. The result was a heavy penalty, demotion in the general classification, and the loss of the world title for Nasser Al-Attiyah to Lucas Moraes (Toyota).
