Le Rally Morocco 2025 is gaining in suspense. The penultimate special stage, run this Thursday over 283 km around Erfoud, rekindles the fight for the overall victory, as well as the World Rally-Raid Championship (W2RC).

Starting in 3rd place this morning, Sébastien Loeb and Édouard Boulanger (Dacia) once again had a great day. The nine-time world rally champion significantly increased his lead in the event and now has a 3'38" lead over Moraes-Monleon (Toyota). The French were, however, beaten by Nani Roma and Alex Haro (Ford). The Spaniards, in the Ford Raptor T1+ Evo, were just 45 seconds faster after 2 hours and 40 minutes of effort!

The battle for the World Rally-Raid Championship title is intense. Lucas Moraes and Armand Monleon (Toyota) set the third fastest time, just ahead of championship leader Nasser Al-Attiyah (alongside Fabian Lurquin). The Qatari continues his climb in the overall standings. Thanks to problems encountered by Ferreira-Palmeiro (Toyota), the three-time world champion gains a place and is now fourth. Lucas Moraes remains second, 3'38'' behind Loeb-Boulanger. The top four are within eight minutes of each other!

Frenchmen Mathieu Serradori and Loïc Minaudier (Century) are the other winners of the day. The crew now sits in 6th place in the Rally of Morocco, just 1 minute behind Ferreira-Palmeiro. Stage 5, scheduled for Friday over 247 km around Erfoud, will be decisive in more ways than one.
