Sébastien Loeb (Dacia) will long remember this outcome of the Rally du MarocThe Alsatian won the race alongside Édouard Boulanger, despite two penalties for missed waypoints in the final kilometers of the race!

"Morocco is not a rally Easy. The competition is very tough now, there are a lot of cars going very fast! So, we had to fight until the end and we did it. I won my second rally-raid. (after Andalusia in 2022), it makes me very happy.

In 10 years of career in the discipline, Sébastien Loeb's record shows "only" two overall victories. “We went through a lot of complicated times, he consents. We always had the performance, but not always the success. Or at least, not the expected result.

The hitch at the end of the rally, with the missed waypoints, tends to make him smile once the engine of his Dacia Sandrider is switched off. "I said to myself: that's it, we've finally found the problem we were missing on this rally! Everything had gone too well (Laughter). There were 33 miles left to go, easy. And we still managed to miss three Waypoints!

Sébastien Loeb becomes the 6th French driver to have his name on the Rally of Morocco list of winners after Jean-Louis Schlesser (2000 to 2002, 2008), Stéphane Peterhansel (2004, 2009-2010), Bruno Saby (2005), Éric Vigouroux (2012) and Guerlain Chicherit (2022).
