Nani Roma started in a distant 15th place this Thursday morning for the 4th stage of the Rally of Morocco 2025. The official Ford driver M-Sport worked hard to set the fastest time, 44 seconds ahead of Sébastien Loeb-Édouard Boulanger (Dacia).

"It's a satisfaction for us, but also for the mechanics and engineers, says the Catalan. This is a great gift for the whole team! Alex (Haro) did a great job with the navigation. The car works great."

The Evolution brought by the engineers of M-Sport on this Rally of Morocco gives complete satisfaction to Nani Roma. “The stage wasn't the easiest. We were hampered by the dust floating around from the cars in front. Once I had a clear path, I was able to attack and felt very comfortable behind the wheel. These feelings give me confidence for the 2026 Dakar.”

Nani Roma, winner of the Dakar Rally in both Motorbike (2004) and Car (2014), adjusted his approach to the Moroccan event along the way. "The initial plan was to win the first stage, only to lose a little time in the second because we would have had to open the special. Except we were faster than expected in the second stage. (2nd time). That's how it is, sometimes the strategy doesn't go as planned and you have to adapt. As for the general classification, we have to keep pushing as hard as possible and believe in it, even if we have to open the special, which is a slight disadvantage. And we'll do the math tomorrow evening."

Nani Roma and Alex Haro are in 3rd place in the 2025 Rallye du Maroc, 6'51'' behind the leaders Loeb-Boulanger. They now have a margin of just 43 seconds over Nasser Al-Attiyah-Fabian Lurquin (Dacia, 4th).
