Rallye du Maroc – Sébastien Loeb: “The Dacia is good everywhere, whatever the terrain”

Author of the 3rd best time this Tuesday in Morocco, Sébastien Loeb is satisfied with the behavior of the Dacia Sandrider, in particular on the compression of shocks.

When Sébastien Loeb has not much to say upon his arrival at the bivouac, it is that the stage went well. The Alsatian proved this by achieving the 3rd best time of the 2nd stage of the Rally Morocco 2024 will be played around Zagora this Tuesday, October 8.

The Dacia driver, partnered by Fabian Lurquin, started from 9th place in the morning of this 267 km special, and finished just 1 minute 53 behind the day's winner, Lucas Moraes (Toyota).

“It was a good stage overall, Sébastien Loeb explained to us. We were careful in the rough sections, we had a puncture at the front but apart from that, no worries." This special stage allowed us to test the dynamic qualities of the Sandrider 4x4, which is making its first competitive outing.

Sébastien Loeb also gave an update on the risks of his car overheating, a subject he had mentioned before the start. "As for the engine temperatures, overall it's good, at one point it went a little close to the limit but it worked throughout the special."

In the general classification, Sébastien Loeb moves up to 5th place, less than a quarter of an hour behind the leader, his teammate Nasser Al-Attiyah.
