Samuel Peu (208 RX) gained momentum throughout the day. Third in timed practice, he set the second fastest time in Q1 before winning the second heat. The former French Champion finished the first day at the top of the Supercar standings.
Davy Jeanney (Fabia), who has been crowned French Champion since the Mayenne stage, finished second ahead of Jonathan Pailler (208 RX). The top five of this first day was completed by Damien Meunier (Audi S1 RX) and Julien Fébreau (208 RX).
Valentin Lumet (Fabia) once again confirmed his pace by winning both Super1600 races. Jérémy Lambec (Audi A1) finished second ahead of Maximilien Eveno (C3). These two drivers are battling for the French Championship title.
Winner of Q1 and Q2, Dylan Léger (Clio) is the leader of the Junior Championship ahead of Thomas Quincé (Clio) and Kelig Gouesbet (Clio).
Consistent and efficient, Ilona Bertapelle (Twingo R1 RX) occupies first place in the Women's Cup. Mélanie Seignard (Twingo R1 RX) is in second place ahead of Alice Margely (Twingo R1 RX) who had to settle for a 7th time in Q2.
Nicolas Beauclé (Mercedes Benz Class A) finished this first day as leader of Division 3, but Emmanuel Danveau (Polo) was particularly effective on the Dreux circuit, notably with a victory in Q1. Marin Le Jossec (208) completed the Top 3 at the end of this first day.
Luc Derrien (Honda Civic) had a very good first day. Second in Q1, he won Q2 to take the lead in Division 4 ahead of Julien Guillard (Clio 4) and Jules Burson (Clio 5).
