The 2nd Lohéac Legend Festival should live up to all these promises. The Breton event, which takes place this Saturday, May 24th and Sunday, May 25th, will see the entry of 130 cars. In detail, there are 53 of them from rallycross, 3 of rally-raid and 74 of rallyAmong the cars present in the rally category, no fewer than 36 come from the legendary Group B.
Spectators will be able to admire in action on the track those which are most representative of the years 1982-1986: five MG Metro 6R4, five Audi quattro S1 or S1 E2, four Peugeot 205 T16 Evo 1 or 2, four Ford RS 200. But also two Lancia Rally 037, a Lancia Delta S4 and a Porsche 911 SC RS 3.0.
The WRC will be seven in number including a Citroën Xsara, a Subaru Impreza, a Ford Escort, a Citroën C4, a Toyota Corolla and a Peugeot 206. For your information, for this rally category, the drivers will start five at a time every 10-15 seconds on the rallycross track.
Lohéac Legend Festival 2025: what about rallycross?
Furthermore, among the 53 rallycross cars entered at the 2025 Lohéac Legend Festival, many will be authentic models that have been perfectly restored. These include two Citroën Xantia 1900 turbo 4x4s, two Peugeot 306s, an S16, and a T16. There's also a BMW 318 Ti T3.
Many drivers who have won French championship titles in the discipline will be present and in action on the track: Jean-Luc Pailler, Gérard Roussel, Gaëtan Sérazin, Christian Ménier. As well as Christophe Vaison, Sébastien Tertrais and Laurent Chartrain.
In addition, many European rallycross drivers, who have shone at different times, will be behind the wheel at Lohéac: Pat and Liam Doram, Andreas Eriksson, Rob Gibson. But also Ollie O'Donovan, Jos Sterkens and George Tracey.
Practical information
Finally, as in 2023, all the cars will be gathered under white tents in the main avenue of Lohéac Park. The venue will be open to the public, who will be able to admire the cars on display and chat passionately with the drivers who have made their mark on the history of rallycross and rallying, some for more than 30 years.
