Johan Kristoffersson (Polo RX1e) and Niclas Grönholm (PWR RX1e) are the two drivers who can claim the world title after the two races scheduled this weekend.
Grönholm is determined to put pressure on Championship leader Kristoffersson. The Finn had a clean sweep by winning all three qualifying rounds.
Qualifying on pole position for the final, Grönholm got off to the best start ahead of his rival in the title race. Kristofferson then decided to put serious pressure on the leader. After three laps, the Polo driver launched his attack to take the lead in the final. Freed up, Kristoffersson set the fastest lap in the process. For his part, Grönholm worked hard to keep Kristoffersson from getting away.
Relieved of pressure from Grönholm, Kristoffersson takes his third victory of the season.

Grönholm still has a slight hope by climbing onto the second step of the podium.
After a close battle with Klara Andersson (PWR RX1e), Veiby crossed the finish line in 3rd position. He was penalized a few minutes later. It was ultimately Andersson who completed the podium in this penultimate World RX race in his electric version.
Final race 1: 1. J. Kristoffersson (Polo RX1e), 2. N. Grönholm (PWR RX1e), 3. K. Andersson (PWR RX1e), 4. O.-C. Veiby (Polo RX1e)
