World RX – Hansen offers Peugeot success at Lohéac

Peugeot and Team Peugeot-Hansen were keen to shine at the home meeting for the Lion, this weekend in Lohéac in Brittany in World RX. Timmy hansen, already winner during the last event of the World Championship of Rallycross in Hell in Norway, met the expectations of the French manufacturer.

Dominant after the qualifying heats, the 23-year-old Swede easily qualified for the final by dominating his series ahead of Mattias Ekström (Audi S1? EKS RX) and Jean-Baptiste Dubourg (Citroën C4). Less success, however, for Davy Jeanney, who was unable to reach the grand final in front of his audience.

The second semi-final allowed Petter Solberg (DS3? SDRX), Johan Kristoffersson (Volkswagen Polo? VW Team Sweden) and Robin Larsson (Audi A1) to climb among the six finalists. But the strongest in Brittany was Timmy Hansen who ultimately won the final by beating Petter Solberg. Superb performance for Jean-Baptiste Dubourg who ranks third to the delight of the fans who came in large numbers to Lohéac.
