Ludovic Godard is returning to the French 2-Wheel Drive Asphalt Rally Championship

The Doubs-born driver will be present at the entire French Rally Championship with the 2-Wheel Drive title in his sights. He will be competing in his Alpine A110 GT+ with several co-drivers during the season.

Following the announcement of Raphaël Astier's presence in the CFR this season on a Porsche The 992 GT+, its competition in the French 2-Wheel Drive Asphalt Rally Championship, is revealed a little more. Ludovic Godard, at the wheel of his Alpine A110 GT+ plans to be present at all rounds of the season. Last year's winner of the 2-Wheel Drive category on the Rally Rhône-Charbonnières, the Besançon native has already racked up some kilometers this season by winning the Ronde du Jura (Renault Clio Rally3) and the Rallye de Meuse with theAlpineHaving followed up with a 3rd place finish last week at the Rallye du Pays Avallonais in his Porsche 991 GT+, Ludovic Godard will compete this season in the French Rally Championship (CFR) with Alexis Maillefert and Franck Gilliot as co-drivers. He will continue to represent Minerva Oil on his car.

A colorful 2026 season for Ludovic Godard

A busy schedule awaits Ludovic Godard this year. In addition to his French Rally Championship program, the former Michelin Amateur Trophy competitor will attempt to qualify for the 2026 French Rally Cup Final, held in Remiremont in the Vosges mountains. This time, he plans to participate with his usual co-driver, Matthieu Bôle-Richard, whose schedule prevents him from competing in the time-consuming CFR events. For several years, Ludovic Godard has been a key player in the French Rally Championship: in addition to his impressive performances, he was instrumental in Sébastien's two most recent appearances. Loeb on the CFR, on the one hand at the Mont-Blanc 2024, rally won by the nine-time World Champion, on the other hand at the Rallye du Var 2025 where Loeb was forced to retire while in full comeback for victory.
