A great turnout for the Royal Rally of Scandinavia next week
The championship favorites will be competing in the Royal Rally of Scandinavia, along with a few guest stars. Teemu Suninen, the recent WRC2 winner of the Rally of Portugal, will be present, as will reigning European Champion Miko Marczyk, who had a disastrous Rally Sierra Morena. Norwegian Eyvind Brynildsen, winner of the 2025 edition, will be there with the stated goal of retaining his title. He will also be using MRF tires, like Martin Sesks, although he has once again opted for a Toyota GR Yaris Rally2 while his Latvian counterpart will compete with a Škoda Fabia RS Rally2. The two men will be teammates.
There, keep an eye on young Swede Isak Reiersen and his Škoda Fabia RS Rally2, who finished third in last year's event. It's worth noting that José Antonio Suárez, the current championship leader following his victory at the Sierra Morena Rally, will not be making the trip: focused on the Spanish Super Championship, a mix of gravel and asphalt, which he won last year, he will leave the battle for victory to other competitors.

On the French side, another fine showing.
Winners of the 2025 Clio Trophy France Junior, Lucas Zielinski and Ewen Leenhardt will also be present at the Royal Rally of Scandinavia. In Andalusia, the two men impressed and won the ERC3 category aboard the Renault Their official Clio Rally3, which they have this season, is equipped with new Michelin tires. Their participation, which was anticipated, was confirmed on social media this Wednesday, May 13th.
As a reminder, David Auto Compétition is handling their car this season, as the team that won the Teams trophy in France last year. While Zielinski and Leenhardt's program wasn't set in stone at the start of the season, their second ERC appearance of the season offers a glimpse of what their racing year might look like.

Unveiled this Wednesday, May 13th, the entry list also reveals the presence of Pierre Ragues, the new President of the French Federation of Motorsport, and Julien Pesenti, driving their Škoda Fabia RS Rally2. Tristan Charpentier and Loris Pascaud, who competed in the Rally of Portugal last week, will also be driving a similar car.
