CFR 2025 Review – Yoann Bonato: “Benjamin is the recipe for my success”

You have just won your sixth French Rally Championship title for Drivers and Co-drivers. Where do you place it in your galaxy?

Yoann Bonato: This is one of our finest titles, because it was a hard-fought season. rally after rally. There are championships we've won or lost, but we've never been so close in terms of the gap to our main rival (Eric Camilli(Editor's note) in all the rounds we competed in. If we calculate the gap over the season, without taking into account Eric's retirement in Antibes, we're less than 10 seconds apart over the more than 1,500 kilometers covered in special stages. We fought hard in every event! What's remarkable is that there was never a moment when either crew cracked under the pressure.
