Eric Camilli (i20 N Rally2-2C Compétition) and Yoann Bonato (C3 Rally2-Trajectus Motorsport) once again engaged in a high-flying duel on the Cévennes roads.
They exchanged first place at the start of rally before seeing Eric Camilli make a big impact on Friday evening in the SS7 held at night. From then on, the Nice native increased his pace to open up a significant gap during the second stage marked by the longest special of the season with 45,1 kilometers to cover.
The short final stage did not change the positions and Eric Camilli won the Critérium des Cévennes and recorded his third victory of the season.
Yoann Bonato knew that a second-place finish would earn him a sixth French Championship title. Attacking early in the rally, Bonato didn't want to take any risks.

After a "wise" end to the rally, Yoann Bonato entered the history of the French rally as he became the only driver to have six French Champion titles to his name.
Hugo Margaillan (i20 N Rally2-CHL Sport Auto) remained strong throughout these three days of racing to reach the final podium ahead of Pablo Sarrazin (C3 Rally2-Sarrazin Motorsport-Iron Lynx), who had a great day on his 20th birthday.
Alone for a large part of the rally, Raphaël Astier (A110 GT-P-CHL Sport Auto) won the Two Wheels with a fifth place in the general classification.
