Followers of the French Rally Championship have been waiting for this long special stage of more than 45 kilometers on the Cévennes roads for a year.
The least we can say is that this piece of bravery lived up to all its promises!

Determined to claim another victory this year, Eric Camilli (i20 N Rally2-2C Competition) set the fastest time in this long special stage. This performance gives him a lead of just over 12 seconds over Bonato at the end of this second day.

Third in SS 10, Yoann Bonato (C3 Rally2-Trajectus Motorsport) remains in provisional second place in the rally before the last three special stages scheduled for Sunday morning. This finishing position would allow him to win a sixth French Championship title.

Hugo Margaillan (i20 N Rally2-CHL Sport Auto) remains in third place at the end of this second day.

Author of a very good time in the 45,1 kilometers of Plantiers, pointing 1,5 seconds behind Camilli, Pablo Sarrazin (C3 Rally2-Sarrazin Motorsport-Iron Lynx) took back almost seven seconds from Margaillan in the fight for third place.

Alone in fifth place, Raphaël Astier (A110 GT-P-CHL Sport Auto) knows that he can score big points in the quest for a second French 2 Wheel Drive Championship title.
