Emmanuel Gascou (Fabia RS Rally2-AMD Motorsport) affirmed his ambitions from the first special stage but a gearbox problem was going to cut short the ambitions of the Fabia driver.
Leader from SS2, Laurent Pellier (Fabia RS Rally2-2C Yacco RS) took advantage of the two passes in the longest stage of the rally, scheduled for the first day, to widen the gap. Pellier had a comfortable lead at the start of the second day.
The Skoda driver drove the point home a little further on Saturday.

With a lead of more than a minute, Pellier mastered the management mode perfectly before securing his third victory of the season, a total domination.

Fourth on the evening of the first day, Emmanuel Gascou displayed a strong pace throughout the second stage to climb onto the second step of the podium ahead of Pierre Ragues (Fabia RS Rally2-2C Yacco RS) who was able to take advantage of his first podium in the French Rally Championship.
