Terre des Cardabelles: Victory and title for Laurent Pellier

Laurent Pellier and Kévin Bronner battled it out all weekend against the Emmanuel Gascou-Gilles de Turckheim duo. The 2C Yacco RS team crew claimed their fifth victory this season and won the French Gravel Rally Championship titles for Driver and Co-driver.

Terre des Cardabelles: Victory and title for Laurent Pellier

With a 1,3 second gap between Laurent Pellier (Fabia RS Rally2-2C Yacco RS) and Emmanuel Gascou (Fabia RS Rally2-AMD Motorsport) the second stage of the Rally Terre de Cardabelles was shaping up to be decisive.

Emmanuel Gascou took the lead before the last two stages of the rally, with a 0,7 second lead over the leader of the French Championship.

Laurent Pellier made a big impact on SS9 to gain an 8-second advantage over Emmanuel Gascou. Under pressure, Pellier maintained his momentum and finished the rally with a scratch. After his French Junior Championship title in 2015, Laurent Pellier won the French Gravel Rally Championship title, while Kévin Bronner was crowned French Co-Driver Gravel Rally Champion.

Florian Condamines (Fabia RS Rally2) takes his first podium in the French Championship ahead of Benjamin Clémençon (C3 Rally2-Sarrazin Motorsport).

Great performance from Damien Mattei (Fabia Rally2 evo) who finished in the Top 5 for his first rally at the wheel of a Rally2.

Before devoting himself to the French Rally Cup Final in Lisieux in his role as president of the Normandy league, Pierre Ragues (Fabia RS Rally2) scores points for sixth place.

Anaël Cayla (Clio Rally5) wins the Clio Trophy France Terre and Loïc Astier (208) takes his third victory of the season in the French 2 Wheel Drive Championship.
