The rally season isn't over yet. While the major French and international events are now behind the leading contenders in the discipline, several rallies are still taking place this weekend and will count towards the 2026 French Rally Cup, the final of which is scheduled for next October near Remiremont (Vosges). As a result, the weekend's program is packed, and there will be several crews to watch across France… not forgetting Corsica.

Rally Balagne National (2B): Léo Rossel as Guest Star

Having committed to the World Rally Championship in 2025, Léo Rossel will make his grand return to Corsica after his victory at the Ronde de la Giraglia last April. Unsurprisingly, the younger of the Rossel brothers will be at the start of the event with a Citroën C3 Rally2 and will be co-driven by local driver Jean-François Mancini. The 2024 French Rally Champion will, however, have to contend with stiff competition: Pablo Sarrazin, himself competing this year in WRC2, will be there, as will Mickaël Reydellet, the unfortunate favorite for the Lisieux Final. Let's not forget Ludovic Godard either, in the...Alpine A110 GT+, which could logically come out on top, as well as the islanders Kévin Fredenucci, Paul-André Mariani or Paul-Antoine Santoni, all equally motivated to compete against the best French drivers.

Rallye du Pays Vençois (06): Martjin Wydaeghe moves to the left

This is one of the pleasant surprises of the end of the season. Martjin Wydaeghe, 2024 World Rally Champion alongside Thierry Neuvillewill make his competitive debut at the Rallye du Pays Vençois in the Alpes-Maritimes. And for this first experience, the Belgian driver has gone all out, entering the field behind the wheel of a Hyundai The i20N Rally2 will be co-driven for this event by Florian Haut-Labourdette, a close associate of "Team Neuville." It's worth noting that Wydaeghe already had the opportunity to drive the Hyundai Rally1 at Goodwood last July: the challenge next weekend will, of course, be on a different scale. Facing him will be local drivers Bruno Riberi, Romain Haut-Labourdette, Frédérik Casciani, and the young Morgan Serret, who will not be intimidated.

Rallye Cigalois (30): The celebration in Occitanie to close the season

Exactly one year ago, uncertainty reigned at the ASA Cigaloise, organizer of the Rallye Cigalois. Initially scheduled for September, the event was hastily canceled due to weather risks, leaving only the December date available. It was an immediate success, so much so that the organizers quickly decided to hold the event on that date for 2025. The entry list, with 170 cars, proves that this choice was the right one. The competition between the leading drivers of the Occitanie-Mediterranean League promises to be exciting, with Dorian Nicolas, the favorite in his Citroën C3 Rally2, but also Kévin Constanty and Romain Durand, who recently switched to the Škoda Fabia Rally2 Evo.

Médoc Rally (33): End of season in Gironde

In Lesparre-Médoc, the festivities are also shaping up to be a great one this weekend. The top drivers from the Nouvelle Aquitaine Sud League will once again have the opportunity to test their cars in this rally, which will celebrate its 42nd edition next weekend. Several drivers competing in the Rally2 class will be present, including Jérémy Bordagaray (Škoda) and Richard Vallois (Citroën), not forgetting the usual local favorites led by Yohan Dupouy (Peugeot 306 F214).
