Between the sixth round of the World Rally Championship in Portugal, the Rally From the Dieppe Rally and the Ain-Jura Rally, both counting towards the French Rally Championship 2nd Division, rally enthusiasts will have plenty to look forward to this weekend. In addition to these events, three other rallies counting towards the French Rally Cup Final (although the two previously mentioned events can also allow drivers to score points – Ed.) and their respective regional championships will also be taking place this weekend.

Bligny-sur-Ouche Rally (N): A fine mix of vehicles
As I write this, the action has already begun in Bligny-sur-Ouche in the Côte-d'Or region. The field there is quite diverse, including Philippe Baffoun and Eloïse Duchaine driving the Ford Fiesta RS. WRC of the first one mentioned, stored in the garage for several months. Behind the crew that started with the number 1 on its doors, Maxime Gibaud – Laurent Lecki (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2) will be ones to watch closely, as will Eric Mauffrey and Nicolas Febvre, back in a Skoda Fabia Rally2 Evo, and Enzo Lucotte and Arthur Gallet in a similar car. In Ghislain Barbier's home territory, the Porsche are obviously legion with, among others, former hill climb driver David Meillon associated with his partner Magali Toinon (992 GT+).
Rallye des Monts de Blond (N): Will the Rageau family achieve another victory?
Mézières-sur-Issoire will host the 13th edition of the Rallye des Monts de Blond this Saturday, June 09th. Philippe and Alexandra Rageau (Škoda Fabia Rally2 evo), recent winners of the Rallye de la Guirlande, are the favorites for the event, but they won't be the only ones vying for victory. Frédéric Meurant – Kévin Aumenier (Škoda Fabia R5), Bruno Longépé – Laurine Besson (Volkswagen Polo R5 GTi), Julien Marty – Jean-Luc Maury (Citroën DS3 R5), and Jean-Charles Beaubelique – Amandine Borderie (Volkswagen Polo R5 GTi) will also be among the contenders for the podium. The rally will consist of 98,32 kilometers of special stages, all on Saturday.
Rallye des Monts du Vaucluse (R): A Schifano – Casciani match to come?
This is the big rally news in the PACA region: Nicolas Schifano has recently changed cars and will debut it at the Rallye des Monts du Vaucluse in Flassan this Saturday, May 09th. Goodbye to the...Alpine The A110 GT+ is now being replaced by a Volkswagen Polo R5 GTi, which could allow the duo formed with Angeline Ravier to continue their string of local victories. However, this weekend they will have to contend with the recent winners of the Rallye de Drap, Frédérik Casciani and Stéphane Peyronel in a Škoda Fabia Rally2 evo. They will obviously not be the only contenders, but they should certainly attract attention.
