Despite the victory, Yoann Bonato's fear of the wind wasn't far behind. "We did a lot of scratching, but the gap isn't very significant," the Isérois rider emphasized at the final checkpoint.
In second place, Eric Camilli / Thibault de La Haye, in Hyundai i20 N Rally2, confirm their performance: "On paper, we were a little slower than Yoann. It's a rally where I am not the most comfortable, but the step has been taken, and taken well.
Var driver Hugo Margaillan, co-driven by Mathieu Coppa, also in a Hyundai i20 N Rally2, completed the podium. He regretted his tire choices during the final loop, particularly after being overtaken by Camilli by very narrow margins (~0,1 s).
