The presence of rain made the stages tricky, forcing the drivers to make varied tire choices.
Léo Rossel (C3 Rally2-PH Sport by Minerva Oil) and Yoann Bonato (C3 Rally2-Trajectus Motorsport) went blow for blow on the first stages of the Rally Vosges-Grand Est.
Visibly at ease in wet conditions, Léo Rossel returned to Gérardmer at the head of the rally.

Only 0,5 seconds behind, Yoann Bonato (C3 Rally2-Trajectus Motorsport) remains very threatening over the leader.
Lacking confidence behind the wheel of your Hyundai, Eric Camilli (i20 N Rally2-Team Bonneton HDG-2C Compétition) conceded more than 15 seconds to the two strong men at the start of the race.

On the two-wheel drive side, Quentin Gilbert (A110 Rally), on his home ground, took the advantage over Cédric Robert (A110 Rally-Team Bonneton HDG-2C Compétition). Good start to the rally for Gilbert who enters the Top 10 in the middle of the Rally2s.
